Are you looking for just the right end-of-year gift for a special teacher? Well, look no further, this is it. It’s a magnet board embellished with poems that honor a teacher. There is a large magnet on the back, so she (or he) can hang it on the refrigerator. There’s also a hole at the at the top so it can be hung on the wall, or it could be displayed on an easel. It measures 9 X 9.
At the top of the board is the quote: ’’Teachers are a work of heart.’’ Under that is a poem:
Teachers come and go but every so often one comes along that you’ll always remember. One who makes learning an adventure...and who can still remember what it’s like to be young and growing up.. . The kind who can make you want to be the very best you can be... Someone you can really talk to, who really what happens to you That person is YOU!
At the bottom is another poem that is held on with the four magnets that come with the board:

This poem can be removed so that you can put in a personal message to the teacher.
The magnet board is further embellished with flowers and stamped flourishes and paisleys.
What a unique gift for a special teacher!! It can be displayed at work or at home, and there probably won’t be duplicates. This would also be something that a class could get together and get for the teacher and a class picture could be used in place of the second poem. All the materials I used are acid and lignin free and my home is smoke-free.
